public art projects

I have completed three public art projects in Perth, WA.

The first, a major commission for Lotteries House Joondalup, consists of quilted textiles and painted works on canvas, for six different spaces within the building.  These artworks bring the surrounding bush inside, inviting visitors to discover some of the rich and subtle colours and textures of the local environment.

The second commission, for the Heathcote Cultural Centre, a series of eleven printed wall panels for the performance space, was undertaken in collaboration with Anne Farren.  The work features fabric printed with flora from Heathcote.

The most recent commission is a diptych for the entrance foyer of the Armadale Memorial Hospital.  This memory quilt draws on local community history and experience.
