early work

When I first started working in quiltmaking in 1984, I brought to the challenge much experience in sewing and fabric printing.  Nevertheless, these early years were times of exploration and growth, as I explored many different techniques. The three constants were my use of fabric printing, my focus on the Australian landscape, and my delight in the use of oddments and scraps to create artworks.

Below is a selection of works from this time.
